Granadero 18 Regimiento a pié, Royal Irish, 1751

Jesus say:Hi Alexandros, I start to paint red with carmine red 908 (all Vallejo acrylic colors) with a tip of Tamiya X-21 for the color is matte, then lights with scarlet 817 and finally bright orange 851 in some areas . The shadows in the base, then red 926 and finally add a little dark Prussian Blue 899. The shadows very highly.

Yesterday I tried the recipe with red but the end result my polished enough if I put the tamiya to become matt.
And you polish your final result?

Hi Alexandros, your use Vallejo acrylics or other manufacturer. has shaken the bottle very well and if so, the day before I put bottle upside down and try it, see how you will be more matte. You might also throw some X-21 test also to be taking a little longer.
You can do a test before painting in figure giving a touch elsewhere to see if you've fallen short of X-21 or on the contrary if it is white you've spent X-21 and the solution is to take a little more of paint. If you do not check this before painting in Figure solve it more complicated. Everything is practice.
