Hola de nuevo, os enseño un diorama sobre la batalla de Bailén ocurrida el día 19 de julio de 1808. 

Bailén fue la primera batalla en que fueron derrotadas las tropas napoleónicas, las cuales tenían fama de invencibles.

          Las figuras están transformadas, modeladas y pintadas por mi. Espero que os guste.

Hello again, I show you a diorama of Bailén's battle happened on July 19, 1808. Bailén was the first battle in which there were defeated the Napoleonic troops, which had reputation of invincible. The figures are transformed, modelled and painted for my. I hope that you like.

General Diego de León

Aquí os enseño una de las últimas figuras que he hecho, transformación, modelado y pintura. Se trata del General Diego de León y Navarrete (Conde de Belascoáin) conocido como la Primera Lanza del Reino.

Participó en las guerras carlista al frente de los lanceros, por su valentía fue condecorado en el campo de batalla con la Cruz Laureada de San Fernando (máxima condecoración al valor).

En 1840 fue nombrado Capitán General y en 1841 se unió al General O'Donnell contra el regente del reino General Baldomero Espartero. Intentó raptar a la Princesa de Asturias Isabel (futura Isabel II) en el Palacio Real de Madrid, no pudiendo conseguirlo por la defensa que hicieron los Alabarderos del Palacio. Fue detenido y condenado a muerte por el General Espartero. El mismo, tras invitar a tabaco y repartir unas monedas entre los soldados que le iban fusilar,dio la orden de fuego muriendo el día 15 de octubre de 1841.

Here I teach you one of the last figures that I have made, transformation, modelled and painting. It is the General Diego de León y Navarrete (Conde de Belascoáin) known as the First Lance of the Kingdom. He was in the Carlistas wars at the head of the lancers, by his valor it was decorated in the battlefield with the Cruz Laureada de San Fernando (maximum decoration to the value). In 1840 he was nominated A Captain Genaral and in 1841 he  joined with the General O'Donnell against the regent of the Kingdom General Baldomero Espartero . It tried to kidnap the Princess of Asturias Isabel (future Isabel II) in the Royal palace of Madrid, not being able to obtain it for the defense that the Halberdiers of the Palace did.It was detained and condemned to death for the General Espartero. The same one, after inviting to tobacco and distributing a few coins between the soldiers who him were going to shoot, gave the order of fire dying on 15 of October of 1841.

Sargento de la Coronelía de la Guardia del Rey Felipe IV. Madrid 1640

     En esta ocasión quiero enseñaros la figura de 54 mm. modelada por Antonio Zapatero para la asociación Alabarda y que representa a un Sargento de la Coronelía Guardia del Rey Felipe IV.

En la figura estaban  modelados con increíble precisión el escudo del pecho, la espalda y la cruz de borgoña de los hombros, yo preferí   quitarlos con una cuchilla y papel de lija, ya que prefiero dibujarlos con el pincel.

Situé la figura en una calle de Madrid, haciendo con escayola la pared y con pequeñas bolitas de pasta el empedrado del suelo.

     La Coronelía de la Guardia del Rey se creó en 1634 por iniciativa del Conde-Duque de Olivares, los integrantes debían ser soldados veteranos o hidalgos de esclarecida alcurnia. 

     In this occasion I want to show you the figure of 54 mm. modeled by Antonio Zapatero for the association Alabarda and that represents a Sergeant of the Coronelía dela Guardia of the King Philip IV. In the figure they were modeled by incredible precision the coat of arms of the chest and the back and the Burgundy cross  of the shoulders, I preferred removing them with a cleaver and paper sands, because I prefer drawing them with the paintbrush. I placed the figure in a street of Madrid, doing with stucco the wall and with small little bolls of Magic-sculp the stone pavement of the soil. 

     The Coronelía de la Guardia of the King was created in 1634 on initiative of the Count-Duke de Olivares, the members had to be veteran soldiers  or gentlemanly of clarified lineage.

Piquero de español, batalla de las Dunas 1639

      Después de un tiempo sin actualizar el blog debido a la proximidad del Euro-militaire de Folkestone, aquí os enseño una figura original modelada por mi querido amigo Antonio Zapatero en 90 mm; una vez que Antonio terminó la figura, empecé a hacer el trozo del galeón donde iba a situarla, basándome en unos planos de modelismo naval, con lámina de plastico de la marca Evergreen, madera de balsa y cuerdas. Una vez terminado el barco lo pinte con Acrílicos Vallejo y utilicé la misma pintura para la figura.

     La escena representa a un piquero de infantería española evitando el abordaje del galeón Santa Teresa en la batalla naval de las Dunas, que tuvo lugar el 21 de octubre de 1639 cerca de la costa del condado de Kent (Inglaterra), entre las armada española y holandesa.

     After a time without updating the blog due to the proximity of the Euro - militaire of Folkestone, here I showyou an o riginal figure shaped by my friend Antonio Zapatero in 90mm; as soon as Antonio finished the figure, I started doing the galleon where it was going to place it, basing on a few planes of naval model, with sheet of plastic of  Evergreen, wood of raft and ropes.                                Once finished the ship I painted it with Acrylic Vallejo and used the same painting for the figure.
 The scene represents a piquero of Spanish infantry avoiding the boarding of the galleon SantaTeresa in the battle of the Dunes, which took place on 21 October 1639 near the coast of Kent's county (England), between the Spanish and Dutch navy.
